Hi, I have been going to a doctor for my eating disorder since September. I have made great progress with my meal plan this month, but I feel alot bigger and I got on the scale a school and saw I was over the weight my doctor said would be minimal for my period to come back, which made me very anxious. Then I e-mailed my doctor and she said that when my period comes back I will be at a healthy weight, but I still feel anxious since my weight is quite high allready, not to mention numbers:)

I went through this same thing. I ended up gaining more than my target weight. Trying to take the “bigger” feeling as a good thing. You are healthy, staying to your meal plan, and doing really well! Those feelings come with the recovery process. There is no rhyme or reason as to how we deal with the feelings. Work with your doctor to find way to distract yourself from negative thoughts. Distractions always help!

Stay strong <3
